The independent Austrian „arbeit plus“ network consists of 200 non-profit, labour market orientated Social Integration Enterprises and was founded more than 30 years ago. The uniqueness of the Social Integration Enterprises that are part of “arbeit plus” is the combination of social, economic and ecological goals. The member organisations advise, supervise and employ people with difficulties accessing the labour market.
The Social Integration Enterprises receive public funding for their labour market integrating mandate. Their services address various groups such as long-term unemployed, girls and women, youth, the elderly, those struggling with addiction or ex-prisoners. Specially trained employees offers the needed expertise and experience to integrate people into the labour market.
