arbeit plus is an Austria-wide network of around 200 non-profit social enterprises at 500 locations. For over 40 years, we have been supporting and empowering disadvantaged people to (re)enter the labour market through advice, training and temporary employment. Every year, around 25,000 people benefit from a temporary job and 200,000 from advice.
At the heart of arbeit plus is the strengthening of work integration social enterprises (WISE). We represent their interests by advocating for better framework conditions, and for a fair labour market policy. We also promote exchange among WISEs, including arbeit plus, and networking with policy makers and mainstream economy. All with the aim of enabling WISEs to develop their full potential.
